I think this is due to the prostate being deflated and bladder muscles being weak and rigid. From my experience the prostate shrinks and swells. Fin blocks whatever causes the prostate and bladder to swell and makes the muscles rigid. This is directly contrary to their intended purpose. A rigid bladder cannot expand so it feels full quickly and you have to keep emptying it. Unfortunately we still have the problem after stopping Fin…
I have had this urinary urgency ever since starting to take Fin. Didn’t realize it though until it was too late. It goes away when the prostate swells properly which doesn’t happen often.
I’ve found doing the kegel exercises helps. Every time I have to pee I stop the stream as many times as possible to strengthen the muscle. That way if I have the urgency to go but the situation isn’t proper I can stop and focus on it flexing the muscles and it goes away.
To confirm the feeling I have is that my bladder is full but I cannot hold it, the muscles are too weak. So I pee a lot. At least once an hour during the day and often multiple times a night.
