I’d be happy to put some money towards travel expenses as well if needed.

Because the biopsy will be taken from foreskin in order to have the least possible impact for the patient. In some cases circumcised men could have a biopsy done, but this would need to be evaluated on a case by case basis by the specialist surgeon. So to be on the safe side, we are focusing on men which are not circumcised that the moment. We don’t want people to travel to the location and then find out that they cant be used for the biopsy.
This theoretically would be possible if we fail to get enough people to travel.
Again, anybody who is serious about participating will receive full documentation about the experiments which will be done, what their purpose and the rationale behind them is. If you are not convinced about the study once you receive this information, you still can withdraw your participation. I just cannot post this information publicly for confidentiality reasons. But anybody who is serious about helping this cause will receive all the information (study protocol document) from me. So if you want to help, but need to find out more, please come forward and pm me.

I have permanent numbness, but personally this type of biopsy is something I want to avoid possible, I am circumcised anyway, but I have developed hypertrophic scarring on top of everything else.
I got circumcised post-fin and got hypertrophic scarring too…

about the penile skin , i have a question for you awor
its a little embarrassing but im gonna tell , something very noticeable has change on my penile skin since quitting fin
i remember before fin , when ever i squeeze my penile skin
something white came out of hair follicle like a butter ,
now when ever i squeeze nothing came out , my penile skin is very dry
what this is telling?? im %100 sure this has to do with our problem
that is both off topic for this thread unless you are planning to fly over and get tested and also something all of us really did not need to read.

but Seriously … it seems %100 of us here have dry skin , if this study focus on why our skin become dry
this could lead to Serious answers in my opinion

Hi everyone
Here is a quick update:
Last Thursday we successfully completed the first round of 5 biopsies at the university hospital location. The scientist team is super motivated and I had a good talk with them (I have a meeting with one of the other scientist teams this afternoon, there are three in all). Despite being circumcised, I went for it as well. Even in my case, being completely circucised (zero foreskin), it was absolutely no problem. They took a minute sample of my skin on top of the penis. You can almost not see it and I didn’t feel anything (no pun intended), not even to this day. The surgeon assured me that I won’t even know where it was a month from now. It also went super well for the other four guys.

The scientists would like to get another 5 additonal biopsys for the experiment (original number was 5-10). This would give the study even more power. So we are calling for another 5 guys to join us either on the 14th or 21st of July at an European location which can be reached via direct flights (inluding Ryan Air).[/size]
The biopsy went so well me, that even circumcised guys can participate if their skin is not super-tight. Please pm me if you have any questions about this.
