I have never had this symptom in 7 years of PSSD, I drank coffee regularly one cup a day without problem. Since a month and a half ago I had an adverse reaction to the anesthetic eye drops Benoxinate (Oxybuprocaine) to measure eye pressure during an eye examination, I can no longer drink coffee because even if I take it in the morning at 10, I am literally awake all night. I have no problems with decaffeinated.
Caffeine intolerance isn’t uncommon amongst patients. Certainly isn’t a uniform symptom but you’re not alone in experiencing it. Maybe give it a rest and try to let your body settle after the bad reaction you had to the eye drops then try having a small cup in a few months or so.

i have the opposite since PSSD, caffeine makes me sleepy. weird asf

Yesterday I had a coffee after a month, and last night I slept, I seem to have tolerated it well, I really hope this intolerance is over, because I love drinking coffee.
