I saw several improved here on sodium butyrate, I wonder if its possible that this is mediated through the improved mitochondrial function, and not the HDACi effect?

Dr George Barretto, who works closesly with Dr. Roberto Melcangi, thinks mitochondrial dysfunction could be involved in PFS.

Some users have severly crashed whilst on sodium butyrate , i think it should be used with precaution , you should stick to low doses

I thought it was because of demythalating effects.

But butyrate influences a lot of things it seems.

Yes, as you said it does many things, you can’t pinpoint the improvements to the HDACi effects
