broccoli sprouts

I’ve been a big eater of broccoli for a while now, which is high in diindolymethane (DIM). I just found out what in the world broccoli sprouts are. Apparently these sprouts are high in sulforaphane, which increases the action/number of phase II detoxification enzymes in the liver. Apparently the sprouts have 30-50x the number of sulforaphane than mature broccoli, but I found no mention of the DIM between the two.

My two questions are:

  1. What the hell is the difference between DIM and sulforaphane?
  2. Think increasing these phase II detoxifying enzymes could help with lingering finasteride side effects? I’m not sure if this is the same question as grapefruit interactions with drugs.

Do some research and come back to us with the answers, cite your sources. Doubt anyone here knows.

No idea what this even means. Either way, I doubt it.
