I quit about 2 weeks ago, then about a week later. I developed breast tenderness. Anyone else??
Not all but many have breast tenderness
I can understand having the tenderness while taking it (which I did not). So, you mean, many people have tenderness upon stopping?
finasteride has caused me hard core gyno and tenderness … verrrrrry uncomfortable
yes after stopping even 4 years after stopping because the body is still in the same situation.
Thanks. Hope it does away and these painful fatty lumps as well. It is mostly tolerable, esp when you know the cause. Read somewhere about trying zinc today. I am afraid of losing 5 years worth of hair in a few months. Anyone try topical monoxidil ?
Would love to hear from other how long their breast issues lasted.
I was so worried they took a chest xray, then CT, found 2 spots in my lungs. The pulmonologist is 99.5% sure they are benign, but now I have to have another CT in 6 months. Evidently they are quite common as you get over 40.
99% in my size are benign and the characteristics are all benign. So, I would really rather not have found these
Read the rules. This isn’t a hair loss forum, if you are still concerned about hair loss post on hair loss sites. This is a site for men with serious, persistent issue from the drug Finasteride.
FYI gynecomastia is a listed side effect of Finasteride, due to shifting androgen/estrogen ratio in men towards more estrogen.
OK, I am sorry. Any way, the left breast is much lumpier then the right. Much more pronounced towards the underarm. They are not truly like breasts, but soft lumps, some of which are tender at times. Any input would be nice.
I have a small spot under my left pec that’s kinda tender. No lumps that I’m aware of and no gyno (knock on wood).
