Brain fog when feeling certain types of emotions

I know it sounds strange.

Generally I have no brain fog. But when I feel certain types of emotions, particularly rapturous ones, it comes around. For example, I support my local amateur team and in every game, after a goal, after shouting and cheering vigorously, I get brain fog. When in traffic, I get angry easily and I sometimes shout out of anger. Then, comes the brain fog. Or after a quarrel with a friend, I get this. Usually lingers on for an hour (maximum) then goes away. Sometimes leaves in few minutes. I know it’s a bit weird and much less of a concern for you guys but it feels “not right” since I’ve been a warm-blooded, highly energetic person in my whole life, I had experienced these feelings a lot, but without brain fog. I don’t think it’s about stress since shouting out of joy in a football game is not related and when dealing with stress in another ways in daily life, I don’t experience brain fog.

So, what’s the cause of this? Any thoughts? Is it about shouting or what? Or some kind of thing pumped in metabolism when feeling strong emotions? I don’t know, just saying.

I’d be glad to have any kind of feedback since I’ll be visiting a neurologist this week for forgetfullness issues and muscle twitching. And I’m planning to bring this up too.

Thank you very much.

I heard a theory that pfs is caused by an over expression of androgen receptors. All your examples seem to be instances where ones testosterone levels would be momentarily raised.

Thanks man, makes sense but not in my case I guess, since I don’t have brain fog when aroused or during sex.

I disagree and am interested being a heavy brain fog sufferer.
It sounds like a cortisol problem to me.

I have heavy brain fog too. Mine is pretty constant all the time. After I get a lot of rest over the weekend it’s better on Monday and Tuesday. Wed, Th, Fri it gets worse due to stress from work.

Stress definitely makes it worse.

I was reading an interesting article about DHEA today:

I feel like if I could get laid off from my job, and could take like 4 months of down time, I could greatly recover from my brain fog. I think my adrenal glands need some time to rest and recover.

I think our bodies might be overproducing DHEA, and supplementing DHEA with and outside source might give them a chance to relax a bit and recover.
