Brain Fog and Headaches

Hey Everyone,

I recently quit fin about 2 months ago.

I had brain fog over the last year of fin use and after quitting, the fog lifted and I felt good for about 1.5 months until a few days ago when it all came back.

I now have the same old feeling in my head as I did on fin, which is of course the heavy brain fog, memory problems, trouble finding the right words, etc.

I noticed that when the fog came back, so did the headache. The headache is like a tight feeling at the front of my head, when the fog went away, so did the headache.

Are you guys getting the same symptoms?

Gino, yes, your symptoms sound exactly like what I have / had. I actually had some success with Migrelief in controlling the early headaches. I had tension headaches frequently.

I’ve been off of Propecia for 2 years and still have cognitive symptoms, but the headaches have improved thankfully and I believe the cognitive symptoms have as well but there are good and bad days.

Best advice I’d give is to exercise frequently with weights and to challenge yourself mentally. It still sucks but this has helped me.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the advice.

I know that time will help, but the cognitive symptoms are just down right nasty, they interfere with daily social interaction.

The one thing that I have noticed now, once I stopped fin, was that I get this stutter or slurring of speech happening once in a while. It usually occurs when I am speaking and I lose my train of thought, which happens alot now. I can kind of feel it coming on, so I just power through the conversation, but it feels like I am speaking a 100 miles/hour. It is almost as if I only have about 2 seconds lead on my thought process while I am speaking, if I stall or slow down, that time goes lower and I lose my train of thought and I sorta blank out.

It is super annoying and makes indepth conversation difficult.

Anyone else have this symptom?

I know this is all related to the slowed cognitive process that fin creates, but just wanted to see if anyone else experienced this.

Gino
