bostonusa2009's story

This is bullshit bostonusa.

My endo doesn’t understand the problem of Adiol G and I sat down and explained to him. Doctors are false prophets here, in terms of trying to get success. And expensive.

Test your Adiol G and treat yourself. Is my advice.

And as for ‘messing up your liver’…if you take low and appropriate doses of say, T, proviron whatever, you won’t mess your liver up.

Thanks for the Advice sufferer2001. I will include Adiol G on my next test. I just got tested again on Friday, so I will have to wait another 5 weeks.

As far as the drs go, I won’t be seeing any new endo’s for a little while now. I am completely unimpressed with what I have experienced and feel it’s a waste of time. I will wait out a couple of blood test results and see if I’m recovering on my own.

I would go and see Shippen if I were you, if I lived anywhere near the guy I’d have practically crawled there by now…

Doctors are false prophets EVERYWHERE for the most part. People need to take responsibility for their own health and stop giving the power away to these legal drug pushers, because that’s all they are.

Nutrition can cure many of the major disease that we in the developed countries suffer from. High BP, High Cholesterol, Diabetes, cancer and the list goes on, are all caused by improper nutrition and lifestyle choices. We don’t need drugs for this stuff we need proper education.

Don’t get me wrong, If I’m in a car accident I’m going to want those guys to sew my legs back on. Trauma care is fantastic and is the one part of the medical establishment that has it right. As far as the rest of it, well, for the most part it’s a money making machine that has no intentions of curing anything. Maintinance meds is where the moneys at. Keep em sick, keep em down, keep profits up. This is the unfortunate reality we live in.

Well so much for recovering. I just got back my latest blood test, that was taken on Friday November 20th @ 8:15 am. In terms of free T, I have reverted back to where I was in June after my first blood test back in June. I pasted my prior results below, so all can see easily to compare the new results.

My first test done by my Primary care dr on 6/23/09 below:

Total T: 751(range 241-827) Free T 9.3( range 12.4-40.0)

2nd test done by 1st Endo Dr on 9/30/09

Total T: 628.02 (241-827) ng/dl

Free T: 11.7 (12.4-40.0) pg/ml

Estadial: 34.92 (0-52) pg/ml

Prolact: 5.4 (2.1-17.7) ng/ml

FSH: 4.8 (1.4-18.1) mIu/ml

LH: 6.6 (1.5-9.3) mIu/ml

DHEA 5.0 (0-10) ng/ml

SHBG 46 (10-60) nmol/L

3rd test done by 2nd Endo Dr on 10/13/09 This dr would not test any other items including Free T.

Total T: 557.69 (241-827)ng dl

ALB: 4.1 (3.4-4.7) gm/dl

SHBG: 43 (10-60.0) nmol/L

4th test done by primary care Dr on 11/20/09

Total T: 571.87 (241-827)ng dl

SHBG 48 (10-60) nmol/L

Free T: 9.3 (12.4-40.0) pg/ml

Estadial: 33.71 (0-52) pg/ml

FSH: 4.4 (1.4-18.1) mIu/ml

LH: 6.0 (1.5-9.3) mIu/ml

My total T is slightly better, my free T and SHBG are slightly worse.
I’m not sure what to think, but I was hoping I could get better without any meds. I seriously doubt that now. I have been off of P for 11 months and I’m back at square 1.

A couple of weeks ago I was having morning erection for most of the week and feeling better, then last week and this week I felt crappy again so I’m not shocked the results came back poorly. I’m going to look closer at my diet and see if I can get some improvement there. I have already removed potential high estrogen foods.

I guess the only hope is Shippen or Chrisler. If anyone has any worthwhile advice regarding my blood test please let me know. I’ll be including Adiol-G on the next test as I have read most of us are hurting in that area and need to have this tested.

What are your current symptoms? Can you have sex ok?
If you’re not that badly affected I would go see Shippen who is not so far away and has extensive experience of this, and presumably of men with far worse sides.

I’m probably going to end up doing that. I’m able to have sex, but have no libido to speak of. I still have a loss of sensation when having sex. I also feel weaker physically and still feel I have a lack of overall energy.

I will call next week to see how long it will take to get an apt with him. The last time I called to get an idea of what he charges, they told me they were booking a couple of months out. I was hoping I could recover without taking some type of prescription, but I have been off of this crap for quite a while and it doesn’t look encouraging that I will recover on my own.

What symptoms do you have still?

I thought I would post this to encorage some guys. Saturday I felt an intesnse need to have sex or masturbate.

It may sound rather pathetic, but I’m not sure how many years it has been since I felt that. The best part is the desire came after a conversation I had with a girl I know over the phone. I started thinking about her and the desire came upon me. The connection we are missing from our brains to our dicks was there.

Overall I my energy has been very high since I made several changes. Using the Ball Zinger, a variety of supplements that include tongkat ali & dim just to name a couple. I have been trying to integrate more omega 3’s into the diet as well. When I have sex my orgasims are better and more intense.

I took Catuaba Bark that morning and I hadn’t taken that supplement in a while. Not sure if that impacted the sensation. I might try increasing the dosage the next time I take that supplement. I am rotating all of the supplements just to keep them effective.

I just thought I would take the time to add this positve for you guys. There is so much negative stuff that we read on here. It is good that guys also know when someone experiences improvements.

so would you say that you have recovered or no?

I have had many positive recovery signs, but I honestly feel I am still quite aways from fully recovered.

I am trying to look at what has improved since I quit. There are many things that have improved. I was just thinking today about how bad I was socially. I had major issues with anxiety and my eyes would be sensative to light and wind. If I was walking into a building from outside it would be difficult to look someone in the eyes and have a conversation once I entered. My eyes would be tearing and I would have anxiety issues as well.

Those problems are gone along with several others.

wow the thing you said about not being able to look people in the eyes, I noticed that too, but then again I’ve always kinda been like that.

It’s weird how such peculiar symptoms are repeated over and over again. I used to look people in the eyes always, on Propecia I was terrible, and even now that I am somewhat better and a year and a half off, I still have difficulty doing this.

It amazing, I started having this problem too, looking people in the eyes, only after taking fin. Would love to know other causes of this, I’m betting lack of dopamine or Test…

The results were negative, thank God. No tumor or problem with the brain. The test itself was pretty awful though. I was stuck on this massive machine with a helmet on my head. The machine makes loud piercing noises for almost the entire duration of the test which took 45 minutes.

Anyway, good news is there is no tumor. I found several articles on line last night about thyroid problems. The benchmark temperature for the body is 97.8. If you come in below this, there is a high likelyhood that you have a thyroid problem. The test suggests you put the thermometer under your arm. I did this three times and I got 97.7, 97.6, 97.7.
I have almost all of the symptoms. I also tested low for T3.

According to most of the information I could find online, it looks like my part of my problems stem from the thyroid. I already know I have very low GH.

I have always thought all along that many of us have mulitple problems going on within our bodies. In other words, we have more than one hormone that is messed up.

I hope to begin treatment on my GH, possibly next week. I have an apt on Thursday with my endo dr.

I did the temp test too right after waking up. Average was 1.5 degrees below recommended range for 2 weeks. That’s why I tried iodine but this was same effect as every other stimulant. Burnout.

Martin,

I also bought some Iodine. I have been using that for about a week now. I’m not sure I notice any difference thought. I think if we truely have a thyroid problem we will need some type of actual thyroid, like Armour or Nature Thyroid. I have read most guys don’t seem to do well the synthetic thyroid products.

I am off to see the endo dr today. I feel like this current dr wants to run every test under the sun, before doing anything. I have come to the conclusion, that I will not get better on my own without some type of treatment; or if I ever did it might take 10 years to get better. I have now run 7 blood tests in 9 months.

I just got a new batch of blood work back from my dr. He checked on Thyroid & Adrenals. He acutally included some other items he didn’t mention to me.

I was prepared to come into his office and ask him to add IGF1 & 1GF3 to my next test. He had already included those.

IGF1 93 (106-277)
IGF3 2.7 (3.4-6.7)

Free T4 1.01 (.61-1.12)
Free T3 2.81 (2.50-3.90)

Cortisol stimulation

Cortisol Basel 12.6 (8.7-22.4)
Aldosterone 28 (nh/dL <=21

I am completely off the map on the IFGF1 & 3 , I knew from my last test that my GH was bad, now I know this is my biggest problem.

I now need to undergo a test called Arginine-GHRH , It is an infusion test that provides the most accurate GH levels possible. This is considered the gold standard of testing for GH. If you test positive on this one, my dr most insurance companies would cover synthetic GH replacement.

I believe I remember Sufferer2001 telling everyone to get their IGF1 & IGF3 checked. Well I wish I would have done it sooner.

I need to do some reading about synthetic GH. I really know nothing about it. My biggest concern would be damage to the liver. What other option do I have to get my GH working again? Are there any other options?

I would imagine using this synthetic hormone could neagtively influence my pituitary’s ability to produce it’s own. I wish there was another way.

I’m interested to hear what happens from the GH test.

I don’t think the thyroid is your problem then unless it’s totally failing. You’ve had it tested, right? Mine tests fine but obviously set on a low metabolism point and when I feed it more iodine it’s great for a while then burnout.

I wish there was more consistency in this process :frowning:

Hey Martin,

Did you get your IGF1 & IGF3 checked or have you had your GH checked? I looked at your blood work link you have posted, but I didn’t see it.

You should definitely get that tested. I was told by my endo that IGF1 & IGF3 blood tests are more reliable than simply test the GH.

ALso the other test I listed Arginine-GHRH, is even more reliable than the IGF1 and IGF3. My insurance is covering all of these, so maybe yours would too.

I’ll post the results on this thread when I get them. It looks as though I will have the test next week.

Whats up with this? You should have a before injection value and a value after the injection. According to ppl in the know (aka doctors) you would be fine with that final value just cause its in range but they are looking for addison and not poor adrenal function. What was your cortisol b4 the injection and how much did it rise?

Basicly the injection told you: hey we are under stress we need to start producing cortisol. Looks like your body dident want to. How did you feel after the test?

Cheers
