Actually i am better than ever and most days i feel 100% which gives me hope that this condition is not permanent and our bodies are not trapped in a scaled down homeostasis.
Nevertheless, something is triggering a negative response which is causing troubles and we must identify this, since our bodies cannot correct it.
I do not think that diet has much to do in our case, i understand that a clean diet is beneficial for general wellfare but diet itself cannot fix us.
Exercise is a different story, through intense workouts the body responds by releasing hormones as it tries to adapt to pressure. Like when you lift weights the body responds by growing more muscle fibers.
When we feel bad, most of us are in a state like the body do not respond to our hormones, thyroid is down, testosterone/androgens down etc. I am starting to believe that this pfs is triggered by our own bodies as a defense mechanism/negative response. Like a system shutdown. Remember that the human body is so smart and adaptable that in every sense of danger it responds accordingly. When we are feeling fear it releases adrenaline/cortisol, when feeling happy serotonine/dopamine etc.
The depression/extreme anxiety/brain fog people are experoencing is likely due to interruption of hormonal pathway to brain neurosteroids causing a partial interference with brain functions.
This locked state our bodies are trapped in, is likely what pfs actually is.
There is no other sensible explanation in my head right now, the body not using its hormones seems right to me when people here report symptoms like loss of body hair, slow beard growth, bloating, libido issues, depression, change of body composition etc.
Another issue is when you get moments of recovery, at these times you are extra horny, cheerful, and have clarity of mind. For these reasons i believe the receptors are not resistant, but sensitive to the relevant hormones.
What do you guys think?
