Body Temp. Dangerously low

Hey fellas, I wanted to ask everyone to please take your body temp. on a daily basis. Mine has been really low, almost reason to be concerned. I recently purchase the Renegade Diet Ebook because it is recommended for hormone manipulation which is exactly what we need. In the book, it stated that is your temp is between 96-97 then your metabolism is screwed up royally. By following the guide and doing what LATE’s protocol I’m sure these affects can be reversed.

I had mentioned that I was going to mess around with Aromasin, but I after much consideration I’ve decided to try to do things the old fashion way, discipline, diet, patience and exercise. Started working out this week…for many of us it will be the biggest challenge of our lives, have hope all is possible.

Hi, have you checked into signing up for the studies going on in the US? These studies urgently need more applicants. You can contact the PFS Foundation to see if you can obtain charitable financial assistance.

If there’s any way out of this mess - it’s through these studies. And there there aren’t enough guys coming forward. Please, your application would be highly appreciated.

Agree, please go to one of the studies. I know a few guys that (including myself) had a good diet, gym rat, ect. Got PFS from 1 dose. It took 24 for me. The guy that got it from one dose was in better shape then me. So I get the diet thing, it’s not a bad idea but I don’t think it’s a cure by any means. For some of us fin. is poison.

Low Body Temp was one of the noticeable sides that I distinctly remember a few years back. Before I knew I had PFS, I kept complaining to my wife how cold I was. Legs, feet, hands especially. Over many months, she had bought me numerous pairs of flannel lined pants/jeans, which I favored over any other pants even while at work in an office. Also found myself placing a heat pad under the covers near my feet at night. And I live in San Diego, the most temperate climate in the US!

This is just one more item that validates all the sides I’ve experienced over time. And here it is 4 years after stopping Finasteride and a body temp check yesterday showed 98.3 at 2pm on a sunny, 80 degree day outside.

I plan to get a good thermo and check temps at intervals daily to assess.
Anyhow, I found this great site regarding body temps and possible causes, with graphs and interpretation advice…

If anyone else has the same experience with feeling cold all the time, please post a response. Would also be nice if I can join a few guys with checking daily temps over a few weeks to compare notes. PM me if interested. Thx

When PFS is in full force I feel colder, my body temperature definitely drops.

my bodytemerature is always a liitle too low, my veins on my forearms arent prominent and i have cold feet. Especially in the winter i will be eating lots of hot cooked food and drink hot water and wear thick socks… the one guy who recovered, i think -gn- said that he believes raising the bodytemerature agian was an essential part of HIS recovery…

Dont mistake me, Im going to take part in the baylor study on the 12th of decembre and im flying there from germany.

Doesnt mean that i cant do any protocols or discuss about recovery options.

Test your T3 and R(reverse)T3.

Test your 24 hour urinary cortisol.

Start taking Cytomel 4-5x a day for at least 3 months for a total of 75-100mcg per day. Each persons dose will vary.
If you experience hyper symptoms and/or your 24 hour cortiol is low then you will need to take cortef with it.

StopTheThyoidMadness.com is a good site for more info on this.

I had the exact same experience when I first began to notice side-effects. Had heaters on 24/7, would wear coats at in the office and be asked why I was so cold.

This was the complete opposite of how I’d ever been prior. I’d always had the windows up at night, even during winter.

This coldness isn’t apparent now as it was then, but still my body temp is lower.

Wonder if it’s just symptomatic of low androgenic activity. Like lack of sweat, lack of hairloss, lack of libido.

have you tried adrenal glandulars like Thorne Research, Adrenal Cortex instead of cortef. I have read many swear it helps.

my body temperature is also way too low, think everybody here has that

Haven’t tested my body temperature but I usually feel warm relative to other people, so I don’t think mine is low. I’m sweating right now in my office at work actually.

I find that although my temp is low, I am very unstable to changes in temperature. For example, when the temperature outside drops, my scrotum shrinks and pulls in tight. When the temperature is high is gets loose and sags. Sometimes temperature effects are mixed, so I can have cold hands but my body is sweaty and overheating at the same time. None of these problems happened prior to fin. Temperature control is the domain of the hypothalamus, which I think has a big part to play in all this. Symptoms related to brain damage are notorious for being long term and difficult to shift. I suspect that for many of us fin hits the hypothalamus hard.

how have I not seen this thread before?
Yes I too have a seriously problem with my body temperature. I am always freezing. Even during the summer when it’s 80 degrees out Im still cold wearing a sweater. I get so cold that i can’t get anything done sometimes because it is so uncomfortable. I never measured my body temp though, what is optimal.
I will say this, I tried doing the paleo diet recently, lasted about 5 weeks before I cracked. Maybe it was a coincidence or maybe it wasn’t, but during those 5 weeks my cold issues seemed to calm down.
Has anyone else figured out any other protocols that help with this?
