Blood tests normal but still suffering

Long story short. 21 y/o took propecia for around 12 days then stopped because of ED/loss of libido. Say I was 10/10 before fin (sex-wise). For about 2 months after stopping I was about a 4/10. Then for a month I was a 0/10. During this month I went 3-4 weeks without even a semi-erection. Then for the past 1.5 months I’ve hovered around a 5, with certain days being like a 7.

Anyway I got the hormone tests during the absolute worst times. I insisted to my doctor that with the complete loss of libido my test MUST be low. Anyway, here are the results.

TSH - 3.17 (.47-4.00)
LH - 4.1 (1.5-9.3)
Prolactin - 7.75 (3.00-16.00)
FSH - 1.4 (1.4 - 18.1

DHT - 36 (25-75)
Testosterone Total - 744 (250-1100)
Testosterone Free - 133.2 (35-155)
Testosterone Free Perce (?) - 1.79 (1.5-2.2)

Well, to me, it sounds like you are recovering - just slowly - as you were a 0 and now a 5-7 daily. Id be optimistic! :sunglasses:

I should not that I attribute at least some of that success to sustain alpha, which I have been on for a month and will be stopping tmo.

Your FSH is quite low, secondary hypogonadal even. I would suggest you get inhibin B checked as high levels can suppress FSH.

Your TSH is considered high based on "recommendation in January 2003 by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) that doctors “consider treatment for patients who test outside the boundaries of a narrower margin based on a target TSH level of 0.3 to 3.0” Here is the link
