Blood Test results (treated with danazol 50mg eod)

Hello my blood test results are as follows:

Testosterone: 4.6 (3-9)
SHBG: 18 (16-65)
FAI: 26 (4-32)
Prolactine: 14.6 (2.1-18)
Androstendione: 1.49 (1.35-4.5)
3a-Diol: 7.0 (3.4-22)
LH: 4.2 (1.7-8.6)
Estradiol (E2) 65 (10-47)

My Estradiol has encreased. I read that a person on this forum had an encreased E2 too after beeing treated with danazol.
What should I do now? My FAI is 26 (4-32). That seems to be good.
Should I use Arimidex? Or will E2 drop after a while???

Can someone help me? By the way me E2 was 28 before treated with danazol.

I would guess E2 would drop after awhile but who knows. If you are self-treating I would try DIM supplements first to see if they have any impact on E2… if not there is always Arimidex, although I of course recommend you do this under a doc’s supervision.

If you want to know protocols, visit the forum at musclechatroom.com, it’s run by Dr John Crisler.

Also, your Prolactin is rather high, though not out of range… might want to keep an eye on that and look into ways to bring it down.

What’s important is – how do you feel while on Danazol and since with these blood results? What problems did you/are you having and has anything improved since your treatment?

Here are the latest blood results:

Prolactin: 15 (4-15)
LH: 4,2 (1,7-8,6)
FSH: 2,2 (1,5-12)
Estradiol (E2): 66 (7,6-43)
Testosterone: 4,6 (2,8-8)
SHBG: 18 (16-65)
FAI: 26 (4-32)
free Testosterone: 15 (8,8-27)
Androstendione: 1,5 (1,36-4,35)
Androstandiole Glucuronide: 7,0 (3,4-22)
DHT: 168 (250-1000)
TSH: 1,44 (0,4-3,8)

There are three conspicuous values: Prolactin, Estradiol (E2) and DHT !

My theorie, why I suffer from side effects although I quit propecia is, that the enzyme aromatase ist hyperactive! E2 acts as an 5AR-inhibitor! And E2 also gives a negative response to brain regarding to LH and Testosterone. Decreasing my E2 level by inhibiting the aromatase is necessary to restore the alpha-5-Reductase and to restore my DHT levels.
High SHBG levels masked the high E2-levels, due to the impact, that high E2 causes high SHBG. It seems to be a control mechanism of the body, to bind excessive high E2 levels.

Decreasing Aromatase and E2 will encrease 5AR and DHT. Decreasing E2 AND Prolactin will also encrease Testosterone caused by positive feeback response to brain!

We will see what happens.

The active ingredient of Arimidex is Anstrazole. It inhibits ~80% of Estradiol in women but only ~50% Estradiol in men!!!
Letrozole inhibts 70% of E2 in men! Its stronger than Arimidex.

My therapie is, that I lower my E2 level from 66 to ~22 and than I ll taper danazol.
