blood test help

Hi Guys,

I finally received my blood tests back. The standard blood test from my PCP came back normal. However, blood tests for neurochemicals from the Canary Club showed a bunch of issues. Looks like low cortisol, and a bunch of other low neurochemicals like serotonin, ect.

I do not have a good understanding of what these chemicals are. Maybe someone could provide some advice about what I should do next.

Should I get more testing done? If so, what should I test?

Should I schedule an appointment with an endocrinologist or a neurologist?

Thanks!!
-G

Very interesting. I haven’t see a lot of guys with low SHBG. You have no sexual sides?

I would take the neuro test results to that doctor JQD was seeing recently. Dr Baily or whatever.

Very interesting Gham! I am usually a dick about tests here because they mostly don’t fine shit but this is very interesting. PM me about how your got these test done. Dopamine, Serotonin, ect…

Are you depressed and suicidal?

These neurosteroid levels are all consistent with the Italian study done a few years back right?

Neurotransmitters are not neurosteroids. He had neurotransmitters tested.

Cortisol is very low throughout the entire day

Why is this so interesting? I don’t understand.

Also, for the past 4 months I’ve been noticing one eyelid drooping after a crash. I have crashes about every 3 days. Today, after my last crash, I noticed eyelid droop, and also the same side of my mouth was drooping a little. I’m starting to wonder if these crashes are causing mini-strokes. That’s kinda scary. But I guess it would kind of make sense, because I’ve been feeling like my brain is getting starved of oxygen.

I know I should go to the hospital, but every time I do, they laugh at me and tell me it’s just a headache.

“So you came to the ER because you’re having a headache?”

Ya, I just took some pics, and I think I can notice some significant drooping when comparing to the girl on this site who had a stroke:

I felt more issues (pain) ect on my left side at the beginning of my crash. Also lost some balance on my left side for a few days early on.

Do you think this was due to a mini stroke?

low t3. consider.

do u have morning wood? random erections? if no, thyroid regulates all of transmitters also libido and wood, also serotonin etc.

Well, I can still get erections, but it just seems like it’s not quite the same as it used to be. I have to wait a full day or so before I can get an erection. I can get off once per day, that’s it. I used to be able to do it every five minutes. haha.

But it still works, just not as good.

The more disturbing thing is it seems to veer off to the left. It never did this before. It seems to do this more when I’m having a crash. Kind of like a dowsing stick. haha

you have low t3, thyroid instantly gave me 3 times per day huge load outs. thats interesting still and stable if i miss a dose i loss my woods

I was thinking a bit more about these blood tests. Everyone on this forum knows a lot more about this stuff than I do, but I’m sure there’s specific drugs they make to fix this reading and that reading with hormone replacement. But, to me, these blood tests seem to indicate that everything is consistently low. That being the case, it probably indicates that the entire organ making these chemicals is having trouble. I’m not sure which organ that would be. Maybe the thyroid or the adrenal glands or pituitary or hypothalamus. In any case, I guess the first step would be to identify the faulty organ. I have NO clue how you go about doing that. Then, I guess you would need to figure out the best way to make that organ healthier.

I’ve noticed that after the weekend I feel much better. Probably because I pretty much sleep all weekend. When I go to work, I have a lot of stress, and this seems to instigate the attacks. I wonder if I had like 6 months off, with no stress, if this would give the organs time to repair themselves.

What did you use to increase your low t3?

Dude take your blood work to a doctor. Do not take advise from a nutter on the Internet. Unless you want to fuck yourself up more. No one here has real answers. Doctors will treat deficiencies. Take that info to Dr. Bieley 561-842-7422, He believes PFS and will try to help you beyond just TRT protocols. Or take random bullshit advise from strangers. Your call.

I spoke to my neurologist and my endo about my blood test results from Canary. They said that it’s not anything to worry about and it looks normal. They said those levels change throughout the day and it’s not a reliable test.

I’m starting to wonder about their opinions though. They said because all the hormones are consistently low, than that’s a good thing. They said if there was a spike in one, or the other then that would indicate a problem. But I started to wonder, if everything is consistently low, couldn’t that indicate a problem with the entire endocrine system? Or a problem with the entire adrenal gland system. What do I know? But I’m starting to second guess their opinion. I guess they are doctors, and if they’re both saying the same thing, maybe they’re right.

Anyways, has anyone else taken the Canary Club tests here? What were your results? Are they like mine.

I’m also wondering if a healthy person took the Canary Club tests, if they would have similar results. A comparison between a healthy person and a PFS person is the only way to really get an indicator if there’s a problem there.
