Anyone out there with bloated stomach? here are some pics for example.
I used to have bloated stomach but i cured it with a no gluten diet as explained on another thread here. However my issues were not even in the same league as the pictures u provided. My main concearn when bloated was more the feeling than the looks even if it it wasent particularly pretty
trust me the feeling is what bothers me the most as i can somewhat disguise the looks. i provided the pics as i wanted to take the subjectivity out of it and provide a clear example of what i was talking about. the feeling is constant irratability, low energy, difficult to sit comfortably, etc. it takes a toll on your overall quality of life.
i should mention my hormones are pretty ideal (T is at mid range) and E2 is ideal at 10 (rr <54), and everything else is within range with nothing too low or too high.
anyway, just wanted to see if others have anything similar in description. i am gonna see a GI dr regarding my digestive system, bacteria concerns in intenstines, and ph balance in stomach.
thanks for replying
jack
Since i have been down this road, this is what i learned so far.
With impaired digestion due to anything one will start to build up toxins in the body as effect of bacteria not leaving the intestines fast enough, one can even have small holes in the intestines after awhile furthering the toxin effect on the body. Now in a toxic state yr body release the stomach acid out into tissues in order to stop heavy metals to (loss of a good word since i am swedish) chemicaly form in the body since this canot be done in an low ph enviroment. They need a non acid inviroment to form (pure chemistry i guess). Now this leaves yr body in a low ph state wich could be confirm by a simple urine test on a lackmus paper (bought in any pharmacy, drugstore) if ph is low this is probably what is happening in yr body. This leaves yr stomach with little acid to deal with digestion of foods entering, also the build up of candida fungus. This is what i had and by stopping fuel to candida with no gluten diet and easily digested foods my symtoms reversed within a week. I am currently on a regime to kill my remainin bacteria in body/intestines. After this i am doing kidney wash and liver wash to further help my body own its own to kill of bacteria and dealing with toxins. Programme should be complete in 3 weeks will post an update on that time. However the no gluten diet still completely negated any symptoms i had.
I can not say that this is 100 % proven in studies etc, i can on the other hand say that my doc was very competent and in me these findings have been 100% effective so far.
First thing to do must always be to get yr bowel movements working properly. Better with diareha than constipation!!
Hope this helps.
Btw with yr hormones so nicely balanced are u or have u been on trt ? or is this just yr untreated postpropecia numbers that still look so good?
Cheers
I’m not on any type of HRT. I did try TRT twice (once on gels for 2 weeks and then 8 months later via injections for 10wks) and it didn’t do anything for me. my numbers were similar to pre TRT as they are today so yeah in a matter of time this is where i normalized.
your post was informative…i appreciate it. i’ll see about finding a ph urine test and go from there.
Keep me posted on your remaining cleanses. have u taken any cipro or other antibiotics to kill your bacteria?
Jack
I have been on antibiotics for 2 weeks approx for prostatits (think was cyp something but not sure have to look that up). At this time my symtoms was actually no better at all. When i went off antibiotics i started no gluten diet approx 1 week later. My gastrointestinal dr said to me antibiotics could / would probably only upset stomach since u also kill of the bacterias u need in stomach / intestine for good function.
Its my belief that the antibiotics may have been agrevating the situation. Atleast not improving. However every1 is different so applie the trial and error and u will c whats good for u. However i strongly suggest any1 with an upset stomach to atleast try no gluten for 2 weeks.
your bloated stomach might be due to high cortisol levels. Have you had them checked? they are typically highest in the mornings.
Along with high cortisol levels comes central obesity: that is, weight gain in your torso and not in your extremeties.
Anyway, you might want to check this out.

Thanks. I’ve had my Cortisol levels checked approx 3 times…all around 9am or so and a few months in between. the numbers were smack in the middle of the AM range. also ACTH test or whatever showed within range.
I posted number of msg’s speaking about lot of gas in my stomac and intesting. I am having the same problems here. Sometimes I am shocked to see my stomac increasing size! This was happening after eating. What helped me a lot is a homeopatic cure with “lyphocodium”. I took it for 2 weeks and the stomac and intestins problems went totally away. Look for an homeopatic doctor. Good luck!
For info about the homeopathic remedy which helped me a lot with bloating stomac/intestines take a look at:

But consult first an homeopathic doctor if you intent to take this medicine!
