Berliner's bloodtests - Low Testosterone

So after a year, I finally got my testosterone checked.

It’s low.

The doctor said normal range was about 15-25, with some as low as 10 and some as high as 30. I’m an 8.6.

So, here’s what I’m pondering…

My hair loss has stopped.

I have erection problems.

If I take the cream to raise my testosterone my hair loss will almost certainly come back, and my erection problems may or may not go away.

Would it make more sense to stick at the low, but not THAT low, 8.6, and keep my hair for a while? All the while using Viagra or what have you if need be?

Thoughts?

I think before applying treatments to heal this issue, it needs to be understood why Propecia can cause hypogonadal levels of T to last this long. Finasteride can affect many areas of the healthy endocrine & nervous system to produce undesired results, and until doctors and manufacturers acknowledge this and provide an answer, I don’t think toying with your body further with creams and whatnot will solve very much. That’s just my take.

Has your low t been diagnosed? What is your LH i.e. is it primary or secondary. I had very low T after quitting and felt so horrible that would rather be completely bald than to feel like that ever again.

Not sure.

I see a specialist in 2 weeks.
