As I’ve reported numerous times, I’m a 51yo who somehow naturally recovered from worst-case scenario PFS after 2.5 years except for freakishly dysfunctional sleep, which has persisted since June 2014. I somehow survive on frequent “rest naps” during which I’m conscious but drowsy/incapacitated.
Anyways I can report that Belsomra works most effectively if I split a 15mg pill in half. I sometimes get 3-4 hours of unconscious sleep 
, which is practically miraculous for me.
Unfortunately Belsomra is extremely expensive and my sleep doctors had to appeal to my health insurance company to get it covered for me. It sells $10 pill in US, so splitting pill saves my ins. Company 50%.
