As I’ve reported numerous times, I am extremely fortunate I 1000% inexplicably/naturally recovered from horrendous “worst-case” scerariio PFS after three years (June 2014 - June 2017) EXCEPT freakishly dysfunctional sleep dysfunction. See my prior threads for details. In short I very rarely sleep unconsciously and - quite impossibly - somehow subsist on “rest naps” where I randomly collapse on sofa or bed and just drift into a relaxed/very sleepy state but remain conscious. They are unpleasant but I feel perfectly fine after 1-4 hours.
Anyways I’ve tried several drug regimens- see prior threads- but recently returned to Belsomra as a last resort since nothing else panned out.
Unfortunately it is extremely expensive in US - $10 a pill - and my sleepdoctor had to appeal to my insurance company to get it covered. Expect heavy resistance if you try it from your insurance company.
Remarkably it has consistently worked for a few days. It did NOT work well at all when I’ve previously tried it.
