Before Propecia and After Lab Work. Any recommendations for other tests? Thank you.

Hi everyone. I have been on this forum for quite some time and I have finally taken the plunge to get some test results done. I know I didn’t get the right things before I started on Prop, but it was the doctor recommended. I also wanted to know what else I should get tested on after this because my doctor said everything is normal, but she said she would write me lab notes for other tests I wanted done.

my friend toadstool on this forum told me to get these also:

24 cortisol test
pregnenlone
estradial
free t3 and free t4 along with reverse t3 as well
SHBG

any others please recommend. thank you friends.

Please recommend me what tests you think I should get. I need to email my doc back and she said she would write the lab slip for more tests. She said everything was normal, except my thyroid was borderline low, but not enough to cause a problem. And I asked her if I could get more tests and she said she would let me get more, just to ask her which ones to get. I’m going to ask her about the ones toadstool recommended. I gave her the whole list on this forum and she told me a lot of them weren’t necessary, so any of them you really think I should get from that big stickied list, let me know.

Thank you everyone for taking a glance at this. BTW, I am going to link her to JN’s thread, I’m hoping she will know more about that. Thanks friends.

I think others here are better to recommend labs. However I wouldn’t recommend JNs thread be sent to your doc. You should read it and come up with your own conclusions tomrecommend to the doctor but someone reading JNs thread who isn’t suffering here may get easily overwhelmed and will not take the time to properly read it. You will turn them off of being interested in your case.

@martinM: my doc said there was no science to backup Rt3 at all. so i think that would be a waste anyway… i need to see an anti aging doc.
