Has anyone at least tried calling Baylor medical college. The last time i did which was a little while ago i spoke with a nurse in the urology dept who didnt know of any on going research/study regarding PFS. This nurse worked directly below the Dr. Who is rumored to be in charge of this study so she would know the details and was firm that there wasn’t anything of the sorts in the works. Why are people being so naive about this. Post recent evidence to proove me wrong .
I would not expect a nurse to know about the status of this research. Nurses are involved in the care side of things, while the last information we have about the study is that it is in the data analytics stage. So, the nurse is right that within her part of the system there is no study ongoing as any samples and other medical procedures were (under)taken years ago. A nurse has likely no idea what is going on beyond that as this concerns lab workers and not nurses.
There is no reason to believe the Baylor study does not exist. It has been officially announced by Baylor and the PFS Foundation, people from this forum have participated, people from this forum have talked to Mohit Khera who heads the study, Mohit Khera has referenced the study in presentations, it has been co-designed by Awor who has talked about the study frequently.
I am not sure what you mean with people being naive about this. It certainly sounds more naive to me to think this study is a big conspiracy, because some nurse did not know about the study. It’s good to be vigilant. But please be as vigilant towards your statements. Making wild claims based on a phone call with some nurse is not helpful.
I can understand the impatience of people as this has been dragging on and on .
I can also understand the complexity of the studies as there’s so many different combinations of side effects some people have a whole bunch of side effects and some people mainly have the sexual side effects either category its a major blow to the people concerned but just imagine trying to find out what is causing these reactions to finasteride for these people especially when some guys get away with it all and have no side effects at all.

Nursing Duties . Registered nurses often work in hospitals or outpatient facilities, where they provide hands-on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients’ conditions, maintaining records and communicating with doctors. A nurse working directly below the key researcher in the study would be well aware of any sort of study especially one that has apparently been dragging on for years. Have you tried tried calling Baylor yourself, if so please elaborate on any fine details that I might be missing and share you experience rather than pumping information everyone has already read about time and time again. A simple phone conversation with a real person was all it took to convince me, funny how hearing a human has that sort of impact…

Why wouldn’t I. I called Baylor to find any information I could related to the Study because everything I read about it sounds like smoke and mirrors and I decided to do my own dd. Low and behold I heard from the source that no one is doing anything about it over at Baylor. Instead of ensuring us of your validity and participation, how about posting some anectodal evidence on your claims. Video footage , recording with names and those ensurances will be the validity and participation I’m looking for. Not doing so only strengthens my suspicion about how fony it is.

Per the website of Baylor college:

So that’s the institution itself, the foundation funding it and awor who helped design the protocol of the study. I think that’s enough to satisfy most people. I’m going to close this as you are not going to be getting video footage of ongoing research (not that such a thing would exist), but if you’ve got an enquiry in the future there’s no need to post so obnoxiously. Also, the Earth is actually round.
