Basic Blood Tests after stopping Finasteride - In Canada

Hi Everyone,

Tomorrow I am going to the doctor to ask for some blood tests to see where my hormone levels are at.

I quit using propecia about 2 months ago and many symptoms have gotten better, but I am still experiencing problems. I know I have only been off of the stuff for 2 months and it takes more time to get levels back to normal naturally, but I want to get the tests done either way and know where I am at. I took propecia for over 8 years, so the stuff has been in me for a long time.

Now, most of you know that in Canada we have a national healthcare system, which makes it tough to get certain testing done, as you need a referral from a doctor to do anything.

So, my question to you, is what are the basic blood tests I should ask for when I see my family doctor tomorrow? I will ask for testosterone (free/total/bio), Pregnenolone, Estrogen.

But what else is absolutely necessary? Knowing that he will not do all the required ones that are listed in the FAQ’s.

Can any other Canadian’s let me know what they have been able to get from there doctor’s?

Thanks,

Gino

go ahead

it s my opinion … you will healed correctly if you do not try to touch(taking clomid ,inhibitors, arimidex, gels, pills, zinc…) your body’s Natural recovery process (nightmares, nghtsweats all will be gone 1-2 years later)

that s my theory wait as long as you can 1-2 years, ignore taking any pills, but get your blood tests done 6 month periods apart…

pray for your own LIVER, he will work so hard to recover you from this shit. in other words
