Avoiding Prostatitis

Hey guys…

Just wanted to say, as I developed Prostatitis symptoms three weeks off of the drug (I’m on week 5), I’d like to post a warning about masturbation techniques when coming off of the drug.

DON’t overdo it. I know you want to test yourself. i thought that climaxing was the issue, so I would check if I could get hard without climaxing. This often proved to be quite fun, and resulted in sessions where I pushed it a little too far without ejaculation. All this does is promote clogging of the seminal vessels. I would say, coming off the drug: Masturbate 2 times a week, and don’t prolong your climax. Get it over with and get the fluids moving where they need to be.

Hang in there guys. I encourage you all to read some posts over at the prostatitis forum to learn about the condition:

Many describe delaying orgasms during masturbation as what they felt lead to their issues.

I’ve been speaking to ithappens about our condition (propecia issue) quite a bit recently, and we both agree that the first thing that needs to be corrected is your sleep. The first step there is to take a sleep study and work with caring doctors as they solve your issue. Without stage 3 + 4 sleep, reovery will be prolonged and difficult. The user who recovered from GHB, in my opinion, hit the nail on the head. There are many cases of people with Fibromyalgia (which is similar in patient’s inability to reach stage 3 + 4 sleep) and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (Definitely feel like many of us may have some version of this… Adrenal Fatigue, yes, but caused and exascerbated by lack of stage 3 + 4) experiencing great positive changes in their lives with Xyrem. That is not to say that Xyrem specifically is the answer, even though it may be for some people.

I hope this message finds everyone well.

I agree completely 100% with what you have to say. I also think that the different symptoms are perhaps synergistic with each other.

I’ve always been one to delay orgasms during masturbation, and I’ve also noticed that the less bags I have under my eyes the less problems I’ve got. Oddly enough, the less I masturbate the better I sleep, and consequentially the less bags I have under my eyes.

Does anybody know an EASY way to get ahold of some Xyrem?
Is this the drug prescribed to people with Fibromyalgia that is almost like GHB?

boston are you getting poor sleep? My advice to everyone on here who was to go see a good a neruologist, and have a sleep study done. Most likely it will reveal poor sleep quality with a lack of stage 3 and 4 sleep, and from there xyrem should be one of the options in order to treat it. The more I look into it I’m not sure if it’s the immediate cure for all our problems as I feel it works in a similar manner to GABApentin, but it will definetly help with the mental problems and lack of energy, motivation etc. I swear so many of the mental and constant fatigue problems cleared up after one night of good sleep. The HGH stimulus it provides though may be the most benefical thing to us for our adrenals and hormones, but we will see. I’m so close to getting ahold of some as I meet with my neuro next week and he said he may be willing to prescribe it to me.

Yes, I think PaulWaters told me way back when, when I pm’ed him last year, that Zyrem is an analog to GHB. (If I am rembering correctly.)
