Austalian Financial Review reports on NIH recognition of PFS

Jill Margo of the Australian Financial Review (aka the Wall Street Journal of Australia) wrote a column today headlined “Drug for Male Balding Linked to Sexual Problems in Small Numbers of Men.”

In it, she says:

“The United States’ National Institutes of Health has added PFS to its Genetic and Rare Diseases Information Centre. This comes at a time when a study in the Journal of the American Medical Association showed that of the 34 clinical trials conducted on finasteride, none adequately reported on sexual side-effects. Another new study in Hormone Molecular Biology and Clinical Investigation showed the drug increased the severity of erectile dysfunction and decreased testosterone levels in men with benignly enlarged prostates.”

Please click on it and share the link as widely as possible.

Just checking to make sure everyone is clicking on this story and sharing with as many people as possible.

PS: Good to see that our joint efforts are making a difference.

As recently as a year ago, Merck was denying that PFS even exists.

Today the United States Department of Health and Human Services is telling the world that PFS does in fact exist.

I guess that would make Mr. Kenneth C. Frazier and his merry band of Dr. Mengele wanna-bes guilty of mendacity.

In other words, they’re all liars.

Just bumping this up in case anyone did not see it yesterday.

Again very important to click on (and share) stories like these to show your support of such coverage.

The more traffic the editors see generated, the most likely they will be to cover PFS again in the future:

Good to see even more media outlets picking up the story, this week in MD Magazine:

What DOES Merck think when they see this? That ALL these publications are making up the story? If that WERE the case (and I’m talking you, Kenneth C. Frazier), why not sue for libel?

Huh, Kenneth?

Huh?

Yet more coverage of NIH’s recognition of PFS, this time in Lawyers and Settlements:

When WILL Merck 'fess up that it f’d up?
