In his latest syndicated column (“Male Breast Enlargement Is Often Reversible,” Feb. 7, 2014), Harvard Medical School professor Dr. Anthony Komaroff correctly writes that certain drugs, including finasteride, may cause gynecomastia.
He also states, however, that “If a person stops taking the offending drug or medication, the breasts will return to their normal size.”
As many of you suffer from persistent breast enlargement, you should email Dr. Komaroff to let him know that’s not always true:
