Arginine???

Anyone on here try taking L-Arginine supplements? I have some layin around from my weight lifting days and have begun taking it again. It didnt do squat for my gains when I was working out, but I wouldn’t be taking it for that reason anymore. Anyone have anything to share? experiences? I’m curious as to whether or not this stuff could be beneficial for my loss of libido, I’m also taking bromelain which I had already for sinus problems, I didn’t know it could also help boost testosterone levels. I tend to doubt these types of natural remedies :unamused: but if anyone has anything positive to share in regard to these two supplements I would love to hear it.

L-Arginine is an amino acid and precusor of Nitric Oxide (NO).

NO is required to obtain erections, and plays a role in many other processes in the human body.

Some have found taking L-arginine helps with strengething erections. Myself, I have found 500mg before bed makes for more intense dreams and waking up feeling more refreshed.

I know it’s beneficial for erections however - but I want to know if it has any effect on libido (nothing else) at all?

I’ve been having some interesting experiences with it, and not sure whether to put it down to the actual arginine or just a placebo effect (which I would prefer tbh…).

It definitely has an effect on me. I took some last night pure (as opposed to mixed in with a protein supp) and woke up with a decent wood that turned into a floppy boner.

However I don’t know if the body will reject the effects with long-term use. And I have been feeling like a bitch today so it’s possible it increased estrogen. Will post more in the member story once I get some more experience.
