My general physician doesn’t want to seem to order too many blood tests to check out my hormones. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any specific doctors that will check you out thoroughly, and aren’t afraid to order a large bloodwork panel of your hormones.
Try a urologist. Some of them won’t listen to you or entertain your requests, but a select few will, and will help you greatly in your search for normalcy. I know my last urologist had the lab check out almost all the values I requested.
You need to find a understanding ENDOCRINOLOGIST. These are the hormone doctors, they can and will order full work-ups on hormones if you describe your symptoms. But really sometimes you will see low testosterone, messed up thyroid hormones and adrenals, but not a whole lot of consistency… 3 Adiol G is definitely worth getting checked too.
If all else fails, visit Dr. Shippen, Dr. Jacobs, Dr. Goldstein or Dr. Crisler.

I’ve been to two urologists, all who were extremely unhelpful. I’ll try getting an appt to an Endocrinologist soon hopefully.
