Are salivary tests reliable?

I am asking this question because my salivary values (btw first time got tests done since crash) are 100% opposite to my blood tests. According to my blood tests my cortisol is high, FSH and LH are bottom low. FSH is higher (3 or 4) and LH is lower (1 or 2). these result put a big qustion mark on the credibility of salivary values.

E3 22 (5 - 40 pg/ml)
17-OH Progesterone 32 (22 - 100 pg/ml)
cortisol ==> Cortisol all time high in blood tests.
06 - 08 AM 6 13 - 24 nM
11 - 1 PM 2 5 - 10
04 - 05 PM 2 3 - 8
10 - midnight <1 1 - 4

LH 41 10 - 25 ==> in my blood tests 1 or 2.
FSH 90 <125 ==>in blood tests 3 or 4

this is done on diagnose-Tech lab in USA

I think the Saliva test is preferred when testing Cortisol for Adrenal issues, as apparently it’s more sensitive. I think blood tests might be used in a more traditional medical setting.

The main challenge is that Cortisol levels change throughout the day. My doctor actually prefers the 24-hour urine test (which involves collecting ALL urine in a day) as it gives you the total amount of cortisol produced.

I’ve done both the saliva test and the urine test (several times) and they’ve both showed low cortisol output in the past.

Regarding Diagnos-Tech, about a year ago Chris Kresser said he stopped using them as he doesn’t trust their results: chriskresser.com/adrenal-fatigue … -arthritis

I got my saliva test from Genova Europe.
