Are my symptoms a sign of Prostatitis?

One of the lingering and most upsetting side effect I have after taking finasteride is an uncomfortable tingling/ache in my penis, especially the glans/head.

Is this a sign of Prostatitis? It seems to come and go, but recently the duration and severity of the discomfort has increased, to the point it’s quite unbearable. I’ve tried thinking about my diet but I’m struggling to identify triggers.

Can anyone help? Considering going to the doctors to try to rule this out and maybe get a full STD check too.

i don’t think too many people check out the prostatitis/peyronies forums honestly

anyway, re: topic of the thread - it could be anything really. sounds neurological though
