What’s crazy is the media literally attacked him saying it’s know to cause confusion, etc. so it seems like popular belief that propecia is bad.
Joe rogan is a good bet he’s used it said it “killed his dick” he has the biggest podcast in the world. If you want to contact his show contact the following:
I also think that the message should be well constructed, precise and very clear and not make us look like babbling hypochondriacs. Perhaps someone with writing skills can articulate our message that could then be sent out by everyone.
Until we get research going and show it exists, no one is going to want to talk about it, because regardless of how much they may be certain it exists themselves, they know that they will be attacked as nut jobs until there more scientific proof it exists.
I agree that it will be critical to have some big names talk about it. But AFTER we have done what WE need to do on getting research performed to show it exists.
and he has been on heavy HRT since
I picked up on that also perhaps there is a correlation between his symptoms and HRT but that’s only speculative.
i think michael jackson and chester bennington too. all suicide. coincidence ? im sure heath ledger hasnt taken propecia
Well the best way to get legitimate research is by exposing the documents discussed in the reuters article… because melcangi is the closest thing to legitimate research right now and for some reason it is still ignored
Most of the issues people brought up can be solved with two guidelines, aside from not saying anything crazy or radical.
First, this shouldn’t be done with a Twitter account or tweet with any connection to this forum, or with the insinuation that it’s on behalf of all PFS users. Create a twitter account just for this if you need to. So there won’t be any “us” that will be seen as crazy/radical.
Secondly, in your appeal don’t make it about Trump’s personal use of Propecia, let alone accuse him of suffering PFS. Try to raise awareness of the sealed documents, so that even if Trump doesn’t do anything, it might raise awareness in the rare event, say, an online journalist covers this topic.
And it’s not a strategy to invest effort and time into, just something to try that requires only a few seconds each day.
This is really key. If you can clearly communicate what Merck did, as explained in the Reuters investigation and corresponding docs, it’s really hard for people to deny that PFS exists. It was in Merck’s original clinical trials from the very beginning. It is important not to drive fear or anxiety since just clearly explaining Merck hid is enough. Playing to fear and anxiety is harmful to our community but educating people on the facts will be very helpful. Don’t get frustrated or stressed if people don’t understand the facts, just find a better way to communicate it to them so they understand. The truth is on our side and there is no need to bully them into believing the truth.
Thank you, by the way, for brainstorming ideas and trying to find ways of advancing the cause. If we can do this more than we have in the past we can really start to make progress.
Who wants to join in tweeting at celebrities/trump? Joe rogans a good one too, he would talk about this- he has mentioned he believed his friend Ari (shaffir, i think) suffered depression solely because of finasteride, and is pretty into hormones. I’ve been tweeting both everyday, sticking to the guidelines discussed by everyone above. Can anyone join?
Trump spoke a lot more fluently when he was young.
Either its Finasteride or old age that has destroyed his brain.
I’m very aware this may be silly but in the spirit of brainstorming what about paying celebrities on cameo to talk about this? It’s public for anyone to see, plus we can repost them. Maybe some celebrities would talk about it, and just posting the videos could be enough to make people listen
This is less silly than trying to get Trump to support us but I don’t know how much this would cost, I think they would be unlikely to want to have anything to do with this, and IDK how to get in touch with celebrity publicists. Maybe some super enlightened person would be willing to do this pro bono if it is an issue he, but maybe she, cares about.
Joe Rogan isn’t crazy but IDK how to get in touch with him. Ashton Kutcher has said on a public talk show that he is concerned about the uncertainties (now more clear risks) of finasterde so he quit. Some other celebrities or high profile people have supposedly developed PFS but they won’t be associated with this in a million years.
i dont think any of them have pfs. they had problems while on it
Cameo is a website where you pay celebrities to share a message you give them. So we can just pay celebrities to talk about finasteride and repost the videos. 95%+ could probably just reject our ask but its very possible some will make the video and then we can just possess a video of people that matter talking about pfs.
I think odds are better for getting a female to talk about Accutane effects than for getting a male movie star to fess up to being limp dicked.
It’s not a bad idea to look for ways to increase exposure on social media, even if appealing to Trump doesn’t directly cause him to notice.
I think I’ll try making a separate, PR-friendly Twitter account to tweet about PFS-related issues, as well as one just for this project to quirkily tweet to Trump. Perhaps the tweets should target others who might be interested.
For what it is or isn’t worth, and whatever one thinks of Trump, I honestly suspect the man has severe cognitive issues from finasteride. Something about the way his physical health and ability to function in life contrast so markedly with his cognitive issues such as his complete loss of any ability to be articulate.
