Hope this hasn’t been asked that often.
I wonder if most of the forum members suffered from the 1 mg (or higher) dosage of propecia, or are there also some who had these hard side effects from a lower dosage? (0,5 f.e.)

Due to flat response rate of drug, Finasteride inhibits nearly same amount of DHT no matter what dosage, unless you take microscopic amounts (ie 0.01mg).
Thus guys can have same side effects at lower dosage as someone at higher dosage. See:

And i have read that several studies say that cutting the 1mg dosage to 0,5 or 0,25 mg would reduce the chances of getting side effects

When I started getting sides from 1mg every day I tried lowering the dosage to .5 every other day but I still got side effects, the type that didn’t go away after quitting the drug.
