Anyone here have high levels of Human Growth Hormone ?

Just back from a visit to my endocrinologist.

I got the results of a glucose tolerance test I had last month.

The endocrinologist said that I now have high levels of growth hormone and that I may have a tumor on my pituitary gland.

A previous less accurate blood test showed that I had low levels of growth hormone but now the more accurate test shows that I have high levels of the hormone.

Does anyone know if its possible that I have a tumor on my pituitary gland or is it much more likely that Finasteride has messed up my growth hormone levels ?

Also it should be pointed out that my endocrinologist does not believe in PFS and did not even read the printouts I gave her which included a study that shows Finasteride can cause long term sexual side effects.

Can you go to a different endocrinologist? And keep her name on record so you can write to her and the people who are responsible for her employment/conduct when PFS is determined to be real. We should be ready to seek justice against these fucking incompetent tools.

Shes on the public system. I could go private but I have already spent thousands of euro on Private Doctors who are equally clueless.

Thats why I don’t want to waste any more money on “Doctors” who wont make any real attempt to even help me.

Everything is a possibility.

A few of us have had Pituitary MRIs. Mine indicated a small adenoma, but not enough to raise concern.

You have to ask yourself what you’re looking to gain from it. High HGH in itself shouldn’t be an issue, unless you’re experiencing excessive bone growth but that isn’t really characteristic of PFS.

I’m actually experiencing bone loss. In a previous test my HGH was low.

Whatever the problem is I believe it all comes back to Finasteride.
