I am terrified after taking my first ‘low dose’ of a 1/4th of a 1.1mg Finasteride tablet. That was 5 days ago. I thought I educated myself enough, but found out soon after that I was terribly wrong. I had no idea that in addition to DHT it could be PERMANENTLY binding to/blocking important neurotransmitters etc. which could be why people suffer permanent side effects even after stopping the medication. I took a low dose because of the DHT inhibition curve graph I’ve seen everywhere.
I’m curious if anyone else has gotten cold feet like I did and stopped after their first day? If so, what was the experience like afteward? I’ve basically been having a non-stop anxiety attack since I took it. I’m VERY healthy, live an active lifestyle and eat well. I’m just terrified that I could’ve done irreversible damage just by taking that fourth of a pill.
So far I haven’t noticed anything besides being restless and having extreme anxiety and slight groin pain (perhaps from ‘testing’ things too much…) I have read a few ‘horror stories’ of men who took a single full 1mg dose and have PFS as well as men that took only 3 days worth of .25 mg and have the syndrome as well. I’m just so worried/anxious, and think the way the drug is described as ‘only blocking DHT’ is completely false advertising and I’m angry about it.
Any comments, I would appreciate SO much.
