Anxiety and bad practice were my problems with my dick

To preface this, I’m not sure I would have been able to mindfully be aware of this problem before I started taking niacin and salt. Niacin took away a lot of the intrusive thoughts I had and helped me a lot. Before that, supplementing sea salt improved the hard flaccid nature of my penis I had. After niacin and salt, my flaccid penis is much longer, looser and squishier. I took finasteride for 3 months and its been around 9 months off.

Niacin and salt may not be necessary, but to remain as accurate as possible it is important to know I was supplementing these in the couple of weeks before I started trying these mental changes. Salt and niacin by themselves, however, did not have a big impact on orgasm or erection quality.

So now let’s start the actual post:

  1. Through closed eye masturbation I discovered that I have been trying to subconsciously manipulate the muscles of my penis while I masturbate to keep erection. I had to stop myself from doing this to see the negative impact it had on my erection. When I started trying to release control over these muscles and let them do what they naturally do, my erection quality increased.

  2. Constantly evaluating my erection to make sure it was hard also hurt my erection quality. If I noticed it felt softer I would immediately think “I’m losing my erection” and it would become soft. I had to stop myself from evaluating my erection while experiencing sexual stimulation.

  3. Because my focus was so scattered thinking about erection quality and trying to control erection muscles, I couldn’t focus on what was exciting me. Now that my attention isn’t scattered as much, orgasms feel nicer and I am more able to become immersed in fantasies. Especially closed-eye fantasies that I imagine.

I was mentally killing my own erection because I was in the thought process of when I couldn’t maintain erection while on finasteride. I’m sure many of you are still experiencing hormonal issues but I would give this a try.

So, you don’t have PFS?

I do have pfs. 3 months on, 9 months off. I edited the post to be more clear.

Hey I am having mild ED , losing erections faster than before and loss of libido… Im only taking Vitamin B6 and B12 at the moment… Also i keep trying to have erections just to test it… at night in bed i’d just think about sex to see if i can get hard or how hard I can get… and if i lose my erection fast i get worried and get anxious…

Didnt think about this before but very well could be true.
