Since about twice a year in stressful situations, I develop mycosis on my shoulders and back. I would like to know if anyone knows of a safe antifungal cream that does not cause problems? I am afraid of taking the classic azole creams, my doctor only prescribes Clotrimazole and He believes that it cannot have side effects.

I’ve taken lamisil (a topical antifungal) with no problems.
Just be careful short term I’m sure it’s fine, however long term don’t use it since they are far worse than finasteride I used ketoconazole topically (another anti fungal) which is what got me here.
I can’t provide any first had experience with anti-fungal creams but I second this. Do be sure to stay away from ketoconazole as it’s a known 5AR inhibitor.
