Its not a possibility. They ARE examining it currently… this was confirmed in a email response by the FDA to Second Amendment and myself.
This is real good news, assuming the FDA grows a backbone and does something about it. Has the FDA ever ordered a drug maker to invest their own funds to find a solution for the problems their drug caused?
Not that I am aware of but it is definitely a possible outcome of government action.
