I don’t know where mental support section, but I’m just going to post this right here. I don’t know about the rest of you but I am fuken angry!
This drug has ruined my fucken life. Merck made millions off this drug while it ruined our lives. Drug companies lie. They cheat. They purposly mislead the public. The executives aren’t concerned about our health, they are only concerned about the stock price of their companies.

Look at just the recent number of drugs that have been pulled off the market, Vioxx, OxyCotin, Lotronex, and dozens more. Why have these drugs been pulled off the market? Because they harm people! Then why the fuck did the FDA let these drugs onto the market in the first place?! Because it is a incompetent, underfunded, political agency with a leader that is too close to the industry (thanks to Bush - that fuken asshole) We, Americans, are the genuie pigs of drugs companies.

I have a lot of anger and biterness built up inside from this bullshit.

Your anger is completely understandable. I’ve had pretty serious anger issues over the last few years, not just directed at Merck and the drug companies but also a generalized anger at the world. However, I have found that the anger is very draining and counterproductive to my recovery, so I’ve been trying very hard recently to find ways of coping with negative emotions like anger and depression. Keeping a positive attitude is very important to our overcoming these problems.

yeah im pissed at merck too. At the end of the day i realize that drug companys and corporations in general will do anything for money, aka. sell dangerous products, or work employees right into declining health, or kill thier own grandparents for an extra 1% on thier executive bonuses that year.

What it comes down to is that im pissed at myself, I know drug companys are dangerous and evil, but in my own vanity I signed a deal with the hormone devil and got burned huge.

Yes, it´s been 3.5 years that I´m off this drug and all despite all this time I still find hard to believe that drug companies, the FDA and lots of doctors are colluded into selling dangerous drugs to patients without telling them the real potential side effects. All in the name of greed!!! Unbelivable!!!

Over time I have found many testimonials of people who got very sick from side effects of many, many drugs that are perfectly legal stuff. In fact, legal drugs kill in Amerca more poeple every year than ileal drugs. But why people in America do not do a thing? People can very easily sue a person or company in the US…!!! Why hasn´t that happened???

We were vain, but the big mistake is not ours, Merck should have advised properly on the reality of this poison.

FUCK YOU MERCK! You have degraded the quality of my life with lies and greed! If I ever meet someone who is responsible for pushing Propecia through, I will trick them into taking propecia in their food!

I’m 75% recovered, don’t have it as bad as a lot of you guys, but this is bullshit! Someone needs to answer for this! I a sitting here with all but zero interest in sex. I LOVE SEX! Fuck.

Don’t do this on a daily basis! They could regain their hair and not notice any side effects! A one month supply (30mg) into their dinner should get the ball rolling. :laughing:

Fucking merck kunts, this stupid fucken poison has ruined my life, those muthafukkas destroying young male lives everywhere. How am I going to have kids or a relationship now? All because of a fucking hair loss pill. We are living most men’s worst nightmare in our 20s and 30s, no dicks or desire for sex. Then you throw in all the other crap that has you feeling 40 years older than you should.
I always tried to live reasonably healthy, not do anything to excess too much, little did I realise I was fucking my body over with this feminising crap that transsexuals take to neuter their masculinity. Plus I was depressed half the fucken time I was taking it, I read these old journals where I didn’t care about anything and remember brief spells off the drug where I experienced JOY in life. Fucking should have taken crack or heroin instead. Don’t get me started on those fucking online ‘pharmacies’ that sell it without warning either.

It s a holiday today in Brazil. Everyone is going out, drinking, and having fun/sex. Just like i used to live and was very happy and satisfied with my life. I know my fault for being vain, it is a small fault. I wanted to preserve what i had. Because my life was soooo good. I was even told this poison would prevent me from having prostate cancer in the future! I have learned my lesson from believing in people, believing in science, and believing in doctors.

But you mother fuckers, you piece of shit, scum of human kind… You are destroying the lives of honest, hard working people. You are destroying families and because of you other families will never exist. What goes around comes around. I am 31. I will not die before i see you get what you deserve. One way or another. It may be a scandal, lawsuits, whatever. I may not recover my health again, but i ll regain the credibility you took from me. One day people will believe in this disease, and i will not be quiet. FUCK YOU!

Yep…I was told that as well…My dermatologist told me “Taking Finasteride will prevent you from getting prostate cancer as you get older”.

Huge misrepresentation, I must say…This was in 2002, maybe he just didn’t KNOW…yeah ok…

I will say this…I will get better, and when I’m “normally” functioning, I’m going to work hard legally to get what I/we deserve…

I have easily spent over 50,000 U.S. dollars trying to get better over the last 8 years…This hasn’t been easy…at all

I take these matters very seriously, especially when it comes to our health. I clearly do not appreciate Merck promoting “finasteride” without clearly understanding what the drug does to the body. Merck is making a fortune off this drug, executives are making lucrative bonuses on hitting/exceeding EPS estimates, and the FDA does not care to help. Merck & FDA keep reverting back to a study done in 1995-1998 that clearly is biased towards Merck’s favor. Business ethics are out of touch her. Greed has taken is toll…Enough is enough though. I must say, society has let me down.

For the doctors who stand up confidently and are trying to help us out, I clearly respect and admire your efforts. There are a few good doctors working on this, and they will eventually help us get better(if not already have done so).

My friends, I would love to get a class action lawsuit going here, but I need to get my health under control. Once my health is back, my efforts will follow. I want to be reimburse every single dime that I put into trying to recover from this mess from Merck. Now, is that too much to ask for or am I being conservative?

Fucking scumbags, I’m having to reject the advances of hot young women 'cos sex has become a near impossible chore.

Someone has to be accountable for this, there are people in the top tier of this odious company who knew what was happening and carried on regardless. Look around the forum, countless lives destroyed indefinitely just to make them a few hundred million. This drug was not put out there to heal illnesses but to treat a very trivial cosmetic concern. They knew how potent it was and said nothing.

Frankly, men have taken up arms for issues less than ours.
