CONCLUSIONS: This pilot study suggests a possibly important relationship between low T and PD. Further prospective studies are needed to confirm this relationship.

Androgens Play a Pivotal Role in Maintaining Penile Tissue Architecture and Erection: A Review

Androgens are essential for development, growth, and maintenance of penile structure, and regulate erectile physiology by multiple mechanisms. Here we provide a concise overview of the basic research findings pertaining to androgen modulation of erectile tissue architecture and physiology. A significant body of evidence exists pointing to a critical role of androgens in erectile physiology.

Makes sense, I crashed after a night drinking which reduces T and increases estrogens. Felt like my dick was going to fall off no joke.

Have also read of HIV patients with low t who get it. Plus it’s most common among older men, who have lower testosterone.

Does restoring androgens improve things though? Seemingly not in our case, at least so far.
