and the TV ads begin, "Call this number now if you took Propecia"

I was watching the NHL Skills Competition (on NBC Sports Network) tonight, and for the first time I see an ad, similar to the asbestos, or a variety of other pharmaceutical damage compensation ads.

Have any of you begun seeing these?

The wolves are circling.

Would that channel and the time that you were watching get many viewers? this is good stuff

NBC is one of the biggest networks in the USA. Usually, you only see those infomercials on smaller networks, so that is big.

“The wolves are circling” … I love it

The propecia and proscar sites are still down too. Merck are probably shitting themselves.

To the OP - are they after ANYONE that has taken finasteride? do they not specify people who are suffering side effects?

I took generic from inhousepharmacy and i am based in the UK unfortunately

What about PFS sufferers outside the US and Canada? Only option is to wait?

Wow! Progress is being made

This isn’t anything new or good news really. Law firms have been advertising on TV since last spring/summer. One of the lawyers I’ve spoken with said the more cases and the “awards” get diluted to a negligable amount for the rest of us. Not sure if that’s going to be the way it works out but that was his take.

@bluecloud- Please tell me why would they be interested in representing people who took finasteride and DID NOT have side effects? I think it’s a safe bet to assume they’re looking for people who took Fin and have PFS…

@BOSTON332

Which Lawyer did you talk to? I have chatted with a few and some of them were complete idiots. They had not even heard of Dr. Irwig or his studies and this was just a few months ago. I have worked for a law firm. Most Lawyers are fools and trying to jump on the band wagon. Are you actually included in a class action lawsuit at this point? I can assure that if this commercial was televised on a major network like NBC, it is a VERY good thing.

I’ve spoken with two of my own and the top four other firms (ranking by number of us signed up) who are filing claims. I agree entirely some of them do not have a grip on the research at all but some of the firms will be sharing this info with eachother. Again, these commercials have been running for many months now and on all the major networks.

Merck is far from “shitting their pants”. Don’t under estimate we’re up against.

Considering Merck killed thousands of people with Vioxx and all they received was the equivalent of a slap on the hand, I don’t think they’re “shitting their pants.” They’ll probably end up making hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars from Propecia and lose maybe 1/10 of that? I’m sure they probably calculated their losses from lawsuits already and either way they still make huge profits. This shit needs to be in a Michael Moore movie or something.

Saw my first Propecia lawsuit tv ad today. Makes me realize how I got played. And I am not easy to play.
