Many here have problems with inflammation and the first thing it comes to mind (and honestly this is the only theory I have read in PH) is leaky gut or similar pathologies due to imbalanced gut bacteria flora or similar. I am not studying PFS in depth anymore and I never studied the inflammation problem: I have decided for myself that the best approach is healthy living(toghether with many practices) so I just leave you with this short infos you might want to investigate deeper. Inflammation problems might have a neurological origin, or at least a neurological cofactor. This web article poses to us the question if we have looked in the right place. Leaky gut might not be the cause of inflammation, but an overreactive local immune system might be, when activated improperly by local nerve cells. Othe studies should be searchead at least to avoid being mislead by the leaky gut theory which might not be our case. Also If I were you, I’d look into articles correlating neurosteroids, pelvic/cavernous/pudendal/dorsal nerves with local inflammation.
