I know we’re all struggling. I would love to hear from any members with similar neurological symptoms - really bad brain fog, but particularly triggered by eating. The brain fog wave happens immediately after eating (before digestion occurs), suggesting nervous system dysfunction and neurosteroid dysfunction. If anyone experiences this or something similar, let’s connect and brainstorm.

How do you feel after ejaculations?

Similar effect to eating - it (usually) triggers a wave of brain fog. Do you have the same experience? Does eating trigger your symptoms?

I have food intolwrances now which I never had before, yes.
Foods I can’t tolerate can cause tinnitus and skin pain among others things

I have been suffering exactly what you described hear after eating. Especially after eating wheat I used to feel extremely tired, dizzy, just wanted to lie down. I had weird feelings in my head like emptiness, shrinkage, coldness etc. But since I have stopped eating wheat for a long time (many ears ago) these feelings have lessened to a great degree.

Did you do anything to mitigate the symptoms other than avoiding wheat? How are your cognitive symptoms now?

Get a biomesight done, go keto, carnivore low carb etc to see if you have a change in symptoms. I think that its carb intolerance or pathogen/dysbiosis in your gut. SIBO, H.pylori perhaps as they can cause neurological sides as the ones you are describing!

There is no cure. One more thing, Oat meal is worse than wheat. Oat meal has sent me to ER three times.

I have not tried oatmeal but oatmeal even before getting this condition has always not sat well with me. I would always feel real weird after in a way that I didn’t from consuming anything else. I believe it may have something to do with the oat beta glucans as nothing quite has the texture like oatmeal. I actually had a crash scare somewhat recently after trying psyllium husk that had the same exact texture as lions mane but I luckily bounced back. I had the tiniest sprinkle too and as soon as it hit my guts the effect were almost instant. Weird stressed out empty feeling in my head, sudden anhedonia like state, extreme dysphoria, could not sexually respond to anything, and was kind of dizzy at times too. It was like being thrown back into part of the worst of this I dealt with thankfully temporarily. I suspect some gut immune reaction to specific compounds is at play due to something in the microbiome based on that though as a heavy contributor.
