Look at the inhibitor list. These are the stuff that can magnify the effect of finasteride. If taken in a big amout and 24h before finasteride.
I always got better erections following a day of drinking. Many here believe in the Allopregnalone theory and I am starting to as well. Turns out alcohol will significantly increase allopregnalone levels in the brain. Note the excerpt from the study below

And alcohol relaxes the mind and the body directly by raising the activity of GABA receptors. There’s no doubt a proportion of the ED is psychogenic.
Just to add to this thread, had 14 vodka sodas on Friday night and Saturday I had more libido and erection than I’ve had in 7 months
A night of drinking significantly raises libido in some. They noted a 4fold increase!!!
Also, day after drinking, I’ll have a moment where my sinus congestion clears for a second and at the EXACT same time , I get a raging erection (post fin of course). Incredible this is all neurologically related
I have exactly the same!! The day after alcohol is the only day I really feel turned on
What does that say to us? Is this something researchers can use towards finding a solution?
It does have the same effect on me.
I stopped drinking alcohol for 2 months trying to become more healthy as I know alcohol should be avoided for impotence etc.
For two months my libido completely vanished. I didnt have sex for a long time.
A couple of days ago I went drinking for the first time again. The next day I felt very turned on and did have sex 3 times. My erection seemed to be normal. This was a huge suprise to me. My sex drive felt complely normal again.
Once the alcohol left my body I resumed to my old state.
On the other hand I noticed not getting drunk anymore after taking finasteride. Even when drinkin a lot, I don’t feel it.
For me its very clear that there is a relation between alcohol intake & the influence of finasteride.

While I am drunk, my erection quality is terrible, but I do get random strong erections the day after drinking quit often.
Wonder if it is an allopreg. spike that helps with that?
I also notice random erections sometimes when I did not get as much sleep the night before…
I’ve had a few drinks since developing PFS. Haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary, although I haven’t gotten totally hammered to the extent of having a hangover the next day like many of you report in this thread. I’ve never been much of a drinker, so I usually draw the line at being pretty tipsy.
Yes I experience exactly the same as you. Only the day after it works, during drinking I don’t feel anything.
Anyhow, I need to drink a lot to experience these effects.
