After a bad night of sleep..is our tiredness "feel" worse than before propecia?

Before propecia, when I was tired, I felt drowsy. I felt ok, comfortable but just a little out of it.

After I quit (and while I used) propecia, after a bads night of sleep, I now feel as im sick. I feel way worse than just drowsy. I feel as I have a headache all day. Naps or short rests dont seem to help any longer.

Is this common with most of us? Any suggestions on specific tests or drugs/supplements?

Id appricate any response…

Low cortisol?

Thanks, I have a doctor appt tomorrow, Ill get it checked.

Do you or anyone else feel “normal tired” post propecia? I dont know how to phrase it better, sorry.

I think this is a common symptom after watching this board for a couple years. It ties into longer refractory period and fatigue, or at least this is how it’s typically described.

Hey yeah i noticed this also if i dont get enough sleep i feel so burn out and light headed.
One day i didnt sleep a night to combat my insomnia and i ended up in the ER i felt like
i was going to die.So i will never do that again but yeah thats weird because post fin i could
stay up and just be sleepy eyed and yawn but not to the point where i felt like i was dying.I done
it many times in Vegas those were the good ole days thanks propecia…

Thanks for the response

I was taking remeron for sleep and it appears that was making me feel extra crappy on my tired days. Im not taking anything now, but my sleep is still not great but its getting better (off propecia for 1 year and a few months)

Im seeing a sleet behavioral specialist, a very good one. But of course no one believes the problem is from propecia…oh well

I still get the lightheadedness, usually when Im tired and stand up quickly. I noticed my iodine supp. seems to help this

Do you have the urge to urinate at night, like me? This seems to keep me from sleeping well also

Yes, I wake up at least a few times a night to urinate.

Its so annoying. I always pee like 3 times before falling asleep.

Ive been trying the brocolli treatment, It has definetly helped on sleep some, and I cut out water 2 hrs before bed. Not the magic bullet I wanted, but better than nothing

Does this urge to pee all the time clear up for people on here?

I think it may improve for some.
