I had an acupunture treatment yesterday. I felt better but that could have been because I was having a good day or the “sugar pill” effect.
Has anyone else tried acupuncture, and if so, what was the result?

i have always been sceptical of acupuncture, but a very good friend of mine who is a doctor in miami took a course in this and used it with his usual patients for a while (before going into a much more lucrative field of medicine) - he was genuinely surprised (as big a sceptic as me, he always seeks a scientific explanation) at the results and saw additional improvements that he could not explain in almost every patient (more than a placebo effect).
‘Sky’ from the old forum reported success with this, but you need someone who really knows what they are doing and you generally need to take a course of treatment.
Also, dont be tricked into taking all the herbal supplements they may try and sell you - my friend warned me that a lot of these have forms of natural steroids in so best avoided!
