a withdrawing 'PULL-BACK' action on penis when trying to 'flex' it for an erection. Does anyone get this? What's the cause?

This never happened b4 fin. Before fin I was normal, when getting aroused I could just sit there and watch my penis grow. I could increase the speed and blood flow of the erection by ‘flexing’ it. Post-fin this no longer happens. Instead, when I ‘flex’ it, my penis does not engorge with blood…it quickly ‘pulls back’ (about 1/2" into my body) and releases.

Anyone else get this?
Any ideas what’s going on here?

Yes. I’v noticed this too. I’v mentioned it in one of my posts. I wonder if the inward movement can be explained by doctors? And how Propecia causes this?

I’m seeing an endo professor this afternoon, I’ll ask him and get back to you.

Worst nightmare comes true!!..Endo Professor at the city hospital told me ‘everything is in range’, ‘looks and feels normal to me…there’s nothing we can do for you…take viagra & stop worrying.’

wtf do I go from here?

That should be good news, since it means you haven’t damaged the Endo system. Take it from there. Don’t give up yet.

No offense, but I think he’ll think you’re crazy if you try to explain all this in this detail, and all this stuff. Just tell him you are having serious problems with prostate/shrinkage/coldness/ and erections, and you need help. Don’t go into all detail about “pullback… response… etc.” and “flexing…” etc… It just sounds too obsessive.
Just my two cents. Most doctor would shake his head probably and I do not think you will find ANY favorable response to such a thing.
In other words, dont give him graphic details, spell it out in simpler terms, that he can understand, but accentuate that there are problems, most importantly, and that you are NOT over the top…

Peace guys. Best of luck. I need it too fellas…

All my blood tests are “normal”, even though I know for a fact that my libido is gone, semen volume is low, morning erections are gone. Can’t really say that my Testosterone is “normal” since I dont know what the value was before propecia, but it was around 400 ng/dl (units might be wrong) back in April. Doctor said this is in normal range “without a doubt”.

Keep strong. We will find a solution. I’m applying to medical school right now , and I swear, if we are all still wondering what is going on, I will turn this into my career (hopefully we will be better before then!).

Personally I notice this more when my prostate feels disconnected from the rest of my body.

When I exercise I constantly try to flex the Kegel muscles while I do other activities, not when I rest. After a few weeks of this I get a connected feeling down there and it feels normal to flex at any stage of softness to erection. When I stop working out it feels as if the prostate shrinks and when it flexes the base is missing to support the outstretched erection and when not erect it jerks in and out of my body a bit to the left when I flex.

Basically there is a static swelling and strength that does not exist now unless I flex my kegel muscles while working out. Such a fine balance…

However it does not seem that the prostate has shrunken permanantly but rather swells and deflates like the rest of my muscles. But the catch is it is so much harder to work out than the rest of the body.

L-Arginine, precurser to NO, should also help it inflate I’m hoping. This is in a protein shake I take and I’m going to start taking it isolated.

So yeah, I notice this too and how I treat it has a direct effect on the quality of my erections. Also has direct effect on how much I can feel the prostate and how often I have to piss. Poor control of prostate = pissing little and often.

Exactly what my issue is. I do get nocturnal and morning erections daily almost as often as before. If my penis is more erect it moves more, if its completly flaccid it wont move at all. My balls moves up and down normally.

Do you also feel that the middle of the shaft gets thin after peing?

EDIT: Just noticed this post was 6 years old…

Just to register. I have this withdrawing ‘PULL-BACK’ action on penis when trying to ‘flex’ it for an erection.
I just can feel my blood going back to my body through the dorsal vein (horrible sensation) and my gland remains cold (looking dry).
