OK, standard disclaimer here. I am not a doc. I am not even science minded. So please don’t blindly follow this idea. I am interested in the opinion of the more experienced board members as to whether or not this is unsafe or insane.
So after much reading of this forum, I understand how you can’t really wean of propecia due to the flat dose response.
After reading more about the plethora of naturally-occuring 5ar inhibitors, I began to wonder: Would it be possible to use these natural inhibitors to wean off fin more slowly? As one decreased propecia intake, they would supplement with a natural inhibitor, enabling one to much more finely-tune the reintroduction of 5ar in the body. Perhaps then one could wean over
the course of 6 months, or as long as they needed.
Like I said above, though, I have no idea if this is possible or safe.
