i was talking with another guy who suffers from finasteride sides and we’ve discovered a common and strange desease; i try to explain…
essentially, when we drink a beer (just one beer, not more) we start to feel a pain in our legs… a sense of annoyance… it’s difficult to explain… after drinking a beer we start to feel pain at our legs… it’s endure about 20 - 30 minutes and then disappear…
somebody has never experienced something like that?
i think it can be a symptom of something, but i don’t know what…
Funny that you mention this, it has happened to me on numerous occasions since the Post-Fin crash as well.
And I’m not the type of guy to attribute every single thing that happens to me since discontinuing the drug is a direct result of Fin… but it is strange indeed.
I literally can feel an aching pain in my thighs and calves that lasts for a good 30-60 mins after the initial drink. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it has happened on numerous occasions, enough to not be coincidental in my mind – especially since I NEVER had these issues when I was healthy (before Fin).
That said I have no idea why this would be happening.
This was one of the effects I have that I thought nobody else had (this + my difficulties to breathe).

Today, the pain is lighter. But anyway, what I can say about this :
I too noticed that it the pain became stronger while drinking alcohol. Be aware that I noticed it months ago. So I feel relieved to see that others have it.
I feel this pain more when I’m getting an erection.
AND
when I first took fin. I had balls and pelvic pain but I thought it would subside and it did but the leg pain remained.
i managed to get rid of it by massage (kine) in july 07. at that time i thought it was not related
-when i got back on fin, the pain came back and is not gone until now
something else to mention :
-in january a doctor gave me progesterone, that has the same action as fin, >reduces dht, and… guess what, after the second pill, I felt the same fuckin prostate&balls pain as well as this leg pain but 10 times stronger.
So for me its is obviously related. Reducing DHT gave me this pain, which is obviously related with the sciatic for me. I can feel the pain all long my leg.
The nerves near the genital aerea are close to the sciatic nerve… so …
I did not get this, but at the moment my junk went numb I experienced cramps and numbness in my legs. This is not as severe anymore, but I still get them in a milder for every once in a while. I cannot remember having anything similar pre-fin.
it’s very interesting to see that other people have suffered of this problem!.. somebody has an hypothesis about the relation between dht and nervous system?
