  4. Tell us your story, in your own words, about your Finasteride usage and side effects experienced while on/off the drug.
    I noticed my hair thinning so I was informed that this could be the solution. I read the instructions and took a single pull. 4 hours later I noticed that usual flirtatious comments didn’t do anything for me. So then I sat down and decided to look at pornography. After 8 hours of constant stimulation physically while viewing all sorts of different things, no errections was achieved. I am worried that a single pill has ruined my entire life and so far I have no support. I am scared

No one can know for sure if one pill has affected you in any ongoing fashion, but judging from countless reports on this forum, I’d say any side effects you’re feeling will be temporary. it’s hard to do, but try to put it out of your mind as much as possible. thankfully you were smart enough to not take a second one!

1 week later

1 week later I still felt symptoms. I had pain in between my testicles and ass. My balls felt numb and painful at times as well. However, near the end of the week I started to feel better. I took Zinc and Mag supplements and lifted weights often. I won’t lie, I had a hard time stopping myself from viewing pornography and physically stimulating myself, trying to force something out of my body.

2 weeks later

During the second week my situation started to improve. At the start of the second week I was able to achieve an erection, but it felt like I was forcing myself in the activity and a climax was pretty impossible to achieve. Finally on the final day I feel confident enough to say that I have fully recovered. I have no pain and all side effects such as numbness erectile dysfunction and loss of libido are gone. I am able to achieve full erection just by thoughts, sight, and libido alone. I am able to climax as I did before as well. I continue to take zinc and mag supplements just because they don’t really give me any side effects, and I just want to play it safe.

If you are reading this, then there’s a few things I want you to take away from this. IF you feel side effects even after ONE single pill, stop taking propecia immediately.

DO NOT panic. DO NOT even visit this forum really, for at least two weeks minimum. If you constantly stress out over something it doesn’t help at all and will only make things worse. You must stay positive.

If this is something you are going through, seek out support from family or friends. In my case my family laughed at me and made fun of me, which was frustrating cause it wasn’t an easy topic to speak to them about. My friends were allowed me to vent my frustrations and worries.

Lastly, DO NOT TAKE MORE EVEN IF ONLY ONE PILL GIVES YOU SIDE EFFECTS. I feel like I have to say this again because it actually worries me what damage would have been done if I took any more.

Welcome to the 1 pill club lol, population you and me, we’re the only active members on the site right now who’ve only taken it once.

Damn you can’t get an erection at all? I don’t know what to tell you other than wait. In two weeks your DHT should return and you should be able to get them again, they might or might not last. My suggestion is to give it a year before you really begin panicking and I’d advise against take anything, you could heal at any point by yourself. But be prepared for some side effects to appear and get worse before they get better.
