3 years since quiting and recovering

Dear people, I want this to be an encouraging and motivating message to those of you still suffering from pfs.
I had tried everything possible or know to me to restart my endoctrine system and get back to my old self. The improvement started slowly after implementing lot of lifestyle changes and now I am almost completely recovered.
The most effective was 10 day fast, high intensity exercise , healthy diet high in seafood vegetable and nuts , change of inviroment and checking out on the rat race, clean mountain air and hiking in altitude over 3000 meters , these things helped me most. I only used vitamin supplements and no other meditations.
It is possible to recover just dont lose hope and set your mind on getting better, at least that was my way out from pfs hell. Wish you luck.
Regards Martin

Hello Nitram,

Thanks for posting… What were you on and for how long? Age range?

Hello thanks for your post. Please explain your symptoms in detail, and tell us which one of them has been recovered completely, as you wish of course. We can benefit from that information.

Have you had any low semen volume issues?
Any orgasm build-up and intensity loss?
Sensivity loss on genitals?
Soft erections?
How much of them actually recovered and what kind of fast diet you did? What kind of exercise?

Interesting that you mention altitude. When I was at 11k feet for 5 days i felt better. I thought it was because my body was upregulating blood to my brain

Im 39 yeard old, mildly overweight, but fit. Never had any health conditions, while I was on fin for 2years I noticed decrease in sex drive but not enough to mind, it was meant to come back once I quit, when I did quit just to see, it improved quickly within a weeks, but then the crash came in full force, I began to panic, familiar ??? all my blood tests came out in normal, How I wished this was all just in my head. No… pfs is real!

There is a complex chemistry going on in our body and especially the brain, many psychoactive drugs make permanent changes to how it functions, even after widrawal, fin probably does it covertly by messing up endoctrine system. Im no expert, but that is just my suspicion.
There are actually a lot of unknowns about our brain and how it functions. Something the profit driven drug companies dont like to admit.

My pfs crash symptoms were… loss of libido, decrease in ejaculate volume, wierd mental numbness, loss of interest in most aspects life.
I knew this was serious when people around me began to notice . Break up with girlfriend did not help me either.
The choice was to get bitter or try to get better.
I did a lot of reading and set my mental state to
, determined to get better ",
I assumed and resoned… when we expose our body to changes it is forced to reset its gauges simply to adapt, this often helps with other various conditions so it is the strategy I choosed .
Started with a fast, 3 days no food and water, 7 days no food,
Exercises: I never attended gym so I started slowly, then moved to high intensity, one hour 3 times a week, morning wood returned soon after within couple of months, kegel exercise as often as possible. 30 min Cardio exercise on off days ,
Diet: lots of raw vegetable, salads, nuts, lean meat, fish, minimum of proccessed carbs, fats
Sugars,
Lifestyle: put my apartment for rent and went bacpacking worlwide, for a year and half so far, now Im in Nepal, Himalayas , I live cheaply in poorer countries on 500 us month, but I eat well in relative comfort and still attend gym , I live mostly from my appartment rental and little savings, I hike, camp, do voluntary work for food and accommodation, have new girlfriend.
My hair is recieding fast but I have never been happier,
The improvement was slow and gradual and only now I see its full extend.
The only thing that has not recovered fully is my ejaculate volume, its still about half of what it used to, but Im greatfull for all the other possitives.
I hope this will help you or at least motivate you.
No hope is lost untill we stop trying.
Good luck everyone…
