So I’ve suffered in silence for about 3 years since starting finasteride,only took it on and off for a year or so. Finally and reluctantly I got some labs done And my testosterone total and free are on the low end of the scale so not treatable they say so my question is has anyone on here ever done or considered trt, and could what finasteride has done by blocking dht be revered by testosterone replacement therapy
There are many, many posts about trt here. You should do a search.
The gist is some people aren’t helped, some are, some are worsened. Not very conclusive. If this were a problem dictated by testosterone level it would be something easily treated and we would have seen many more people recovered as a result.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t explore it, but it isn’t a sure fix.

I am happy you are here and not in silence anymore. I am new year too, and there is so much info on here you could spend days reading and learning. Even if some people on here have different views, the key things is we are here for each other, brother.
