2 Important questions to determine predisposition

Hi guys,
I would like you to answer in these two questions if you care so. The logic behind it i will explain it after we gather enough responds, as i don’t want to mislead you in your answer:

1)Do you remember having any sexual-cognitive-fatigue issues BEFORE fin? Also, do you remember feeling a little depressed sometimes with no reason, or waking up unrefreshed after a good nights sleep?

2)Have you ever used drugs for prolonged periods? (more than a year)

  1. No

  2. No

Pretty much everyone will not have had a refreshing night’s sleep at some point in their life, or felt a little depressed.

Also, prescription drugs or recreational ones? And how often?

I agree. I was meant to ask if you kept experiencing unrefreshing sleep several times with no reason. This has to do with neurosteroid balance along with adrenal issues.
I would assume that
a)the predisposition that we have has to do with an already impaired gene(s) or chromosome(s) OR
b)we are highly susceptible to oxidative stress, which is triggered by fin. This could explain long term use but no short term use (except a minor possibility that short time users were already experiencing oxidation.

Yes, I had prolonged experiences with depression long before fin (but nothing like this). I used marijuana daily for a few years (many years before fin) and drank heavily for years before, during, and after fin (but nothing too crazy. Just kind of a heavy drinker at certain points). It seems the consensus here is that none of these things are involved.

  1. No

  2. No

I’ve always been extremely health with food and exercise. I don’t like alcohol or to smoke and I’ve never did drugs before…

Costa - I don’t believe that you’ve clarified whether you meant recreational/prescription drugs or both.

  1. i never had any sexual, cognitive,or fatigue issues before pfs,as for sleep i was a very deep sleeper before pfs,i could fall asleep on a washing line, had some depression over the years before fin but who hasnt…2. i used drugs such as ecstacy, speed, cannabis, and some acid between the ages of 14 and 20 years old…

This is a very interesting post.

  1. Although I didn’t know it at the time, I now recognise that I suffered significant depression from aged 16 - 22. This was throughout my main education time (School and college) where I hated every second of it and wasn’t eating, highly stressed, anxious etc.

  2. With a lot of regret, I took anabolic steroids from aged 25 when I started doing weights to get some size on and them became obsessed with it. I stopped taking steroids due to very bad roid rages.

I also believe that we are genetically predisposed to it. My father suffered from very bad depression. Way worse that what I am feeling from PFS. I have several cousins who suffer badly including some who are permanently unemployed as their anxiety means they can’t hold down a job.

Interesting, cement. I have bad anxiety too, so maybe it’s a relevant predisposition.

When I’m hungover from drinking my anxiety is even more intense, however I also get a big boost to my libido. I really think there’s a connection here.

Edit: I thought this warranted its own topic: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=9021

  1. Problems with fatigue since my teens. Always suspected adrenals, I’d fall asleep in class and was persistently told I looked tired. Depression / anxiety also. However no sexual problems, libido has also been high, as well as other effects of high androgens including acne/hairloss.

  2. Antibiotics, beta-blockers, benzos, stimulants, sleeping pills…

So basically I have zero chance of claiming any compensation from this drug.
